Anime Superstar

Anime Superstar is own and operated by Robert Miles, Jarrell Hall, and Christopher Nguyen.

Rob Miles

Rob has been involved in the entertainment industry for most of his life, working as on-air talent, in product development, and event planning, as well as working as an advisor and consultant to numerous production companies and networks. From a very early age, Rob lived in various parts of the world, with his family eventually settling in Japan where he adopted a lot of the culture and gained his love of animation, video games, and technology.

In founding Anime Superstar with Jarrell Hall in mid-2004, Rob has continued to find new ways to reach more people as both a career and product evangelist. Driven on by his love for the anime medium and technology, Rob continues to carve new pathways in getting more people interested and engaged. Of the awards and acknowledgements he has earned, he is most proud to have been named one of the Top 50 African-Americans in Technology for 2011.

Jarrell Hall

Actor, Producer, Musician, Voice Actor, Martial Artist, and Stunt man. Jarrell Hall began his career in entertainment at the age of 5 years old. He began with music and theatre, which eventually led to his discovery of Anime. He started with such classics as “Fist of the North Star” and “Akira”, which kindled an interest and passion for Japanese culture, music, and especially animation. After years of training in various institutions such as Berkeley Rep, Cal Shakes in Orinda, A.C.T. in San Francisco, and eventually Chapman University in Orange County, Jarrell moved back to the Bay Area to fully pursue and build Anime Superstar. Jarrell can be seen in such films as The Matrix: Reloaded, The Pursuit of Happyness, and Star Trek. His voice can be heard in numerous shows on Cartoon Network, Chapman University Documentaries, and various Video Games.

In 2004, Jarrell met Robert Miles at Anime Expo and thus the true birth of Anime Superstar came into fruition. His collaboration, skill, and drive led him and Rob to build and create a brand that now spans to many different faces of the entertainment industry. Jarrell, Rob, and Topher can be seen and heard every Thursday at 8pm PST on the “Anime Superstar Show” by Open Line Media and the TradioV Network.
